The ‘Most Responsible Companies in the U.S.’ list is compiled jointly by Newsweek and the internationally recognized data research organization Statista. The 2026 evaluation focuses on three dimensions: environment, social, and governance (ESG). It covers 2,000 top publicly listed U.S. companies, quantifies and verifies more than 30 key performance indicators, and incorporates a nationwide reputation survey of 18,000 Americans to comprehensively assess corporate social responsibility practices and public recognition.
In this selection, Timken Company stood out among many enterprises, ranking among the 600 award-winning companies across 14 industries, and is listed in the capital goods category.
